opening impression (a sound draft)
This composition was an early experiment at playing with some of the elements I intended to use in the soundtrack for the ‘Under the Forest’ radioplay. (Sonic Theatre?, Acoustic Imagi-drama?). The melodic flourish at the start makes way for the slowly detuning tones. These tones are a metaphor for the reality of seepage and drainage, that slow movement out of the land.
